Semi-permanent with reinforcement: what it is and how it is done

Today we will talk about a new technique that has recently had great development among fans of nail reconstruction products, nail art and those who love to always feel in order: the use of semi-permanent nail polish with reinforcement.

Another term that is used is reinforced semi-permanent or semi-gel application.

The technique of semi-permanent with reinforcement is halfway between gel reconstruction and the application of common semi-permanent nail polish. An elastic product is used, practically like semi-permanent, but with a strong yield so as to be able to perform small extensions, corrections on the nail bed and curvatures.

Compared to the common gel polish, the reinforced semi-permanent has a denser base, our Gel Base Rubber , but if applied well, it will not be necessary to level it and it can also be applied with a simple thin-tipped brush to define its edges well.

Reinforced Semi-Permanent: How to Use Base Rubber and What Are the Benefits?

The Rubber Base can also be used with reconstruction papers to slightly lengthen the free edge. It will therefore be an excellent alternative if you need to make your nails more beautiful but do not want to resort to the actual application of gel reconstruction.

So after always having performed the preparation of the natural nail, with the careful cleaning of the cuticles, opacification and various steps of the preparators, to create a simple semi-permanent with reinforcement we recommend proceeding with Gel Base Rubber which is spread like a normal nail polish, but you will appreciate its medium viscosity, excellent for then also creating the curvature to reinforce the natural nail with the only product! Another advantage of the Gel Base Rubber  is its use, where a nail breaks or a nail is shorter than the others. It will be an excellent ally to quickly avoid putting on false nails or tip and you can thus harmonize the appearance of the hand without wasting too much time.

So what is the Rubber Base for semi-permanent with reinforcement? It is a great way to help correct the nail bed, fill in imperfections and make the surfaces more compliant.

Not being a product for the reconstruction of gel nails as such, but a soak off base, it has a duration more similar to the normal semi-permanent (it varies from 3-4 weeks).

Can reinforced semi-permanent always replace gel ? The answer is it depends.

It is not suitable if you want to give a lot of length to your nails, nor is it suitable if you need to carry out a complex reconstruction, for example if you bite your nails (you suffer from onychophagia).
